New Delhi : Union Minister Anant Geete said the Automotive Mission Plan ( AMP) 2016-2026 for months can be placed before the Union Cabinet . Under the scheme, five million additional jobs are to be generated .Geete said, "We are expanding in 2026 to the National Automotive Mission Plan. Cabinet will consider the proposal for a month. "He said the Cabinet's approval will pave the way for the introduction of the new AMP. The scheme of the Indian automobile industry, engineering, vehicle exports, the top three countries in terms of manufacturing and auto components to include. First Automotive Mission Plan for 2006-2016 was launched.
